Measuring dynamic parameters under ambient vibration

Late in 2021, Sercel carried out a structural monitoring survey of the Caltech Hall, a 9-story building with a basement better known as Millikan Library, located on the campus in Pasadena, California.

The objective of the survey was to assess the performance of a wireless, synchronized sensor network dedicated to measuring the dynamic parameters of a structure under ambient vibration/seismic activity and evaluate its behavior.

Sercel’s S-lynks structural monitoring solution was deployed to conduct the monitoring project.

Find out more about the survey's operational challenges and how our solution S-lynks fully met  expectations and delivered excellent data quality.
